How to add your insurance broker

Give your broker a secure upload link so renewals reach your profile without you forwarding emails.

Your insurance broker can upload certificates and renewals directly to your profile. They don't need an account, and you stay in control.

Add your broker

  1. Go to Documents and choose Manage broker access, or use the "Add my broker" field in the Insurance step of onboarding.
  2. Enter your broker's email address.
  3. We email them a secure link explaining who asked and what to upload.

The link lets them upload certificates for your company only. It can't see your other documents, your score or anything else.

What the broker sees

  • Your company name and the request to upload current certificates (ACORD 25) and renewals.
  • An upload page. That's it.

Broker confirmation

When a certificate is verified, we also email the broker listed on it and ask them to confirm the carrier, policy number, limits and expiry. When they click confirm, the policy shows a Broker Confirmed badge on your profile. If they report a problem, an analyst reviews the certificate.

Remove or change a broker

On Manage broker access, turn off any broker's access. Their link stops working immediately. Add the new broker's email to send them a fresh link.

Tips

  • Ask your broker to name your legal entity exactly as it appears on your profile.
  • If a client needs a certificate naming them as additional insured, the client can request it from your profile and we'll pass the request to your broker.
