AV is bought on trust. We make it checkable.

AVCleared is the AV storefront of LevelRated: the same verification engine, the same Trust Scores, organized around ecosystems, certifications, rooms and crews.

What we saw

The big prequalification networks do real verification work. But they charge contractors an annual fee, a setup fee scaled by headcount, and a reinstatement fee if anything lapses. Small firms pay hundreds of dollars a year per client network just to be considered, and they re-send the same certificate of insurance to every client anyway.

Meanwhile the paperwork tells you whether a firm is insured, not whether the job went well. Almost nobody captures how the work actually turned out.

What we built

One reusable profile per contractor, verified once and monitored continuously. Licenses are re-checked with state boards, insurance expiry is tracked with reminders to the contractor and their broker, and sanctions lists are screened weekly.

A Trust Score that blends compliance, safety, financial health, verified performance and responsiveness, with every factor explained. Companies layer their own pass/fail rules on top. Reviews come only from verified engagements.

For AV, that means modeling how AV is actually bought: who can program a Q-SYS divisible room with Crestron panels, who holds a CTS-D to stamp the design, who hands over source code. Certifications belong to the people who earned them.

Who pays

Companies pay a subscription. Contractors pay nothing to list or get verified through Level 3. Optional paid services never change a score, ranking, review or badge. That’s written into our integrity policy and our Terms.
