How Fit Status works
Requirement Profiles, Approved vs Conditional vs Not approved, waivers, and why Fit Status is separate from the Trust Score.
Fit Status tells you whether a contractor meets your rules. It's separate from the platform-wide Trust Score and from star ratings, and we never blend the three.
Requirement Profiles
A Requirement Profile is a named set of rules, such as "High-risk electrical, Site A" or "Programming-only, remote OK". You can set:
- Minimum insurance limits per policy type, required endorsements and a minimum A.M. Best rating
- Required licenses
- Maximum EMR, TRIR and DART; required safety programs; no willful citations in N years
- Minimum credit band and years in business
- Minimum verification level and minimum Trust Score
- Required worker certifications (for example "at least 2 OSHA 30" or "1 Q-SYS Control 201")
- Custom questions, documents to sign and site orientation
Each rule is Hard or Soft.
The four statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Approved | Every rule is met |
| Conditional | Only soft rules are missing; the missing items are listed |
| Not approved | At least one hard rule is missing; the missing items are listed |
| Pending | Documents needed for a rule are still under review |
Click Why? on any profile to see each rule, whether it's met, and the evidence behind it.
The active profile
Pick your active profile in the top bar. Search cards, your network table and the compliance dashboard all show Fit Status against that profile, and switching recalculates everywhere.
Waivers
Company owners and admins can waive a single rule for a single contractor, with a reason, an approver and an expiry date. Waivers show as Waived and are logged. When a waiver expires, the rule applies again.
Versions
Editing a profile creates a new version. You'll see what changed, and contractors in your network are told about new requirements so they can respond before it matters.
Starter plans include one Requirement Profile, Professional ten, and Enterprise unlimited (per site and per trade).
